Database Editing

Who? How?

Who edits the database?

Anyone on this planet who has internet access.

Is there a possibility to enter wrong information?

NO !

How?

Wrong information is filtered out, only evidence-based data can be updated in the database .

Can some one accidentally "corrupt" the database?

NO !

Can I try to enter wrong data and see if it is updated to the database or not?

You are welcomed.

Why do you allow this?

Simply because we believe no one company can efficiently create a "complete" drug databae, everyone who can should have a chance to share. this is why we do not need to add extra-fat to the website. It is a focused dedicated website to drug information.

Is there some sort of scientific revision to the database?

Yes, Medical University Professors and Practicing Consultants -from different disciplines- share voluntarily in this work.

How can I add a drug or medication?

Just click "edit database" button and fill the form, that's it.

Any hints or tips?

Yes,

You may enter a drug under more than one system or therapeutic group.

Better to add to the existing information rather than to replace it.

Submitted information should match the field it is submitted in. For example:

  • Packing::

    •      Pack of 8 tablets.

    •      Bottle 60 ml

  • Form:

  •    Tablet

  •     Syrup

  • Concentration:

    •     200mg/tablet

    •     50mg/5ml
